Manufacturer: Centurion Laboratories, India
Pharmaceutical name: Sildenafil Citrate
Cenforce FM is a tablet often referred to as the "female Viagra." It contains 100mg of the active ingredient Sildenafil citrate. While Sildenafil Citrate is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men, this medication has been specially developed as a sexual enhancer aimed at providing sexual satisfaction for women and addressing issues associated with Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD).
Research indicates that this drug may help boost sexual desire in women engaging in sexual activity. It functions by increasing blood circulation to the female genital area, heightening sensitivity in the clitoris and surrounding regions of the vagina. The precise mechanism by which it enhances sexual desire remains unclear. Additionally, some studies suggest that this medication can augment vaginal lubrication in post-menopausal women.
To use Cenforce-FM, one tablet should be taken orally, as needed, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. The effects of the medication may begin roughly 45 minutes post-ingestion and can last for about 4 to 6 hours.
The dosage can be adjusted, either reduced to 25mg or increased to 100mg, based on the individual’s efficacy and tolerability. The maximum allowable dose of Cenforce FM is 100mg per day, and it is essential not to exceed this limit. Consultation with a healthcare provider is advised before making any dose modifications. Cenforce FM can be consumed with or without food, but the onset of effects may be delayed if taken with food.
Those who are allergic to Cenforce FM, its active ingredient Sildenafil, and any of its inactive components should avoid this medication. Cenforce FM is also contraindicated for individuals taking nitrates in any form or Riociguat, as this may enhance the hypotensive effects and elevate the risk of low blood pressure.
Some individuals may experience common side effects while taking this medication, which generally resolve within a few hours. These side effects include, but are not limited to: headache, dizziness, diarrhea, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, flushing (redness and warmth), urinary tract infection, respiratory tract infection, rash, back pain, or muscle pain.
If an allergic reaction occurs, marked by difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, immediate medical attention should be sought.
